Visit Temple Emanu-El

One of the qualities we cherish most at Temple Emanu-El is our reputation as an open and welcoming synagogue. Many members have told us that from the moment they walked through our doors, they felt a sense of warmth and belonging — and we are committed to continuing that tradition.

At the same time, the safety and security of our members, guests, and staff must remain a top priority.

If you are not a member of Temple Emanu-El:

  • Please fill out the form below to register in advance before attending services so we can have a list of expected visitors.
  • Upon arrival, guests will be asked to present ID. We understand some people do not carry identification on Shabbat, and that is understandable — we will assess each situation on a case-by-case basis.
  • If someone has not registered and does not have an ID, they will not automatically be turned away — but we will speak with them, ask a few questions, and ensure there is a clear and appropriate reason for their visit.

If you're planning on joining us for the High Holy Days, you'll need to acquire tickets. Ticketing information can be found on our High Holy Days page.
