WHAT DOES YOUR KETUBAH ACTUALLY SAY?

 

What does the text of your ketubah (wedding contract), if you have one and you can find it, actually say? Back in the day, there was a standard boilerplate text; now couples have many options. Rabbi Ochs will talk about what motivated her to replace her 50 year old ketubah with one that was accurate in its details and reflective of new Jewish perspectives on marriage.

 

If you can safely transport your own ketubah, do bring it along so we can hear its story and see the text and images that were chosen.
