    Weekend Schedule

     For 36 years—Double Chai—our Cantor filled our synagogue with music, mentorship, and heart. Join us for a joyful weekend of services, song, memory, and community as we celebrate a lifetime of devotion and the countless lives he has touched. Three unforgettable days. One extraordinary Cantor. A community united in song and gratitude. All events are free and open to the entire community.

    Kick off Double Chai Weekend with an uplifting Shabbat service where klezmer melodies dance through our traditional prayers, bringing energy, warmth, and joy to welcome the day of rest.

    Torah Tutor Alumni Shabbat & Community Kiddush Luncheon
    This special Shabbat morning honors the generations of Torah Tutors and students whose Jewish journeys were strengthened through this beloved program.

     In keeping with Cantor Mayer’s wishes, all weekend events will be free and open to the entire community. As such, we are relying on donations to help offset the costs of the celebration and ensure that this tribute is as meaningful and inclusive as he envisioned.
