Religious Life: Junior Congregation

Junior Congregation

In Junior Congregation, children in grades 3-6, from both the Temple Religious School and the Jewish day schools, have the opportunity to put their learning into practice by leading parts of the service, learning new melodies, and exploring Shabbat teachings and stories. Junior Congregation is led by our USY teens who bring special energy to these services. Junior Congregation meets every Saturday at 10:30 am.(except school vacations).

Jr. Congregation begins on September 20th.

FREQUENT DAVENER POINTS ARE BACK:  Very popular with the children years ago, we are bringing back this successful program.  Each week at Jr. Congregation, every child who attends for the entire service will be given a card worth 100 "Frequent Davener" points.  Twice a year, in Dec. and in June, they can 'cash in' their cards for all kinds of fun prizes.

Questions? Feel free to contact Rabbi Seltzer or Miriam Abrams-Stark at the Temple.
