Museum
A magnificent collection of antique and contemporary Jewish ceremonial art is what you will find in the Abraham and Natalie Percelay Museum.
The ceremonial objects show how Jews over the centuries have fulfilled the tradition of Hiddur Mitzvah, literally, “beautifying the mitzvah.” The Museum’s items for home and synagogue use embody the feelings of affection that Jews hold for ritual observances. Learning about the purpose and artistry of the pieces cultivates a deeper appreciation for our heritage.
Many pieces are on display around the Temple throughout the year. Docent tours, for groups or individuals, are available by contacting the Temple Office. |
