Shabbat

Exuberant, harmonious singing, teaching and discussions, meditation, drumming and chanting are all part of Shabbat at Emanu-El. We welcome Shabbat with a traditional Kabbalat Shabbat service, and once a month Young Families join in EKS (early Kabbalat Shabbat) with little ones who are becoming familiar with the prayers and melodies and getting to feel comfortable in Temple.

The following services are offered regularly at Temple Emanu-El:

FRIDAY NIGHT
5:45 PM - Chapel Friday Night Service (weekly)
5:45 PM - Family First Friday Night Service (EKS), (once per month, see calendar, followed by dinner)
6:00 PM - Shabbat Chai (first and third Shabbat of each month, November through May)
