Minyan Hadash
Minyan Hadash, now in its sixth year, is an exciting addition to Shabbat morning davening at Temple Emanu-El. It will meet the 2nd and 4th Shabbat of each month at 9:45 a.m. and will finish in time to join together with the entire congregation for Kiddush. We will not meet during the times of the Chagim and during Shabbatot with major community events. The style of the minyan is a lay-led, traditional, egalitarian, informal, warm and spirited service. Conducted mostly in Hebrew, different people will be leading the various parts of the service and volunteers are always welcome. This family-friendly service includes a full Torah reading, a very brief D'var Torah, and all of the other parts of the service. People of all ages are welcomed and encouraged to join in and participate. If you would like to be on the Minyan email list so you are notified of all Minyan related events or would like to lead a part, please email to: teminyan@gmail.com.
